On 2 July 2026, ElimuMatokeo had the honor of presenting its play-based intervention games, Karata za Elimu na Kazi, and Safari ya Maisha board game to the Zanzibar Library Services Board (ZLSB). The session introduced the Board to both games and explored how each is designed to build career awareness, life skills and traditional Tanzanian values in primary school learners.
With the ZLSB’s mission to promote literacy, learning and community engagement across Zanzibar, the discussion explored how these tools can complement the Board’s work and reach young learners through its network of libraries. We are grateful to the Board for its warm reception and look forward to exploring ways to bring learning through play to more children across the islands.
