I am an experienced COO/CFO/NED with over 20 years executive experience from the UK with a track record of delivering strategic and sustainable results. My passion for ElimuMatokeo is a personal journey. When I was 10 years old, I received the opportunity to leave the Bukoba Secondary School in Tanzania and study in the UK. Having spent more than 40 years in the UK and a successful corporate career, I want to come back and give back to the people of Tanzania. I often question why I was gifted the chance to move to the UK, and having travelled across Tanzania, people often talk about quality of education. Combining both these factors led to the birth of ElimuMatokeo focused on improving educational outcomes for the children of Tanzania.
